Aadhar card is a 12-digit number which is issued by UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) and which verifies your identity as an Indian resident and your address. After verification process of your documents you will get a 12-digit unique number which will remain valid for life.
How to update your Aadhaar card information:
UIDAI provides two methods to update the date of your Aadhaar Card and you can choose which suits you better. Most popular method is changing the information online. You can request to update your name, address, Gender, date of birth and mobile number, maximum of 4 times.
